Appointments and Cancellations

We require 24 hours notice to change or cancel an appointment as we have allocated this time slot for you and your health. Without proper notice, it is difficult to schedule another client who may need the treatment time. If an appointment is missed without 24 hours notice, you will be billed for the time booked. If your appointment falls on a Monday, please contact us by the previous Friday morning. We also encourage you to schedule your following visit in advance to ensure that you get the time and day that you desire.

Cell Phones and Pagers

Please mute cell phones and pagers during your appointment time.

Inappropriate Behaviour

If any behaviour is considered inappropriate the session will be terminated immediately and payment must be made in full. We reserve the right to end the session if we feel a client's behaviour or conduct is inappropriate. We also reserve the right to terminate a session for medical reasons, including discovering that the client has taken drugs or medications that are contraindications to massage therapy.

We are experienced in addressing and managing insurance claims. Our team will prepare all necessary insurance forms on your behalf. In order to get reimbursed for your treatments, some insurance companies require a prescription from your physician. Before making an appointment, we suggest you contact your insurance company with your policy number and ask if it is required. We do direct billing for Blue Cross for Veterans Affairs and RCMP.

Length of Sessions

Massage and Acupuncture:

Our policy is to give the scheduled amount of time requested. This means that a 60-minute session would be 60 minutes of treatment time. This includes assessment, treatment, discussion, home care/remedial exercise demonstration and follow-up treatment plan.

There is a $25 fee for returned checks.

Payment Options

All fees must be paid on the day of treatment. We accept cash, cheque, Interac, Visa, Mastercard and Amex. All fees are in Canadian Dollars and include HST.

If you have friends, family members or co-workers who are looking for a dedicated Health Care Professional, you can rest assured that they will receive the same quality care that you have come to expect. Thank you for your referrals!

If you are late for a scheduled session, we may not be able to provide you with the full length of your session. Our sessions are set to start and end on time to allow our clients and our Health Care Professionals to plan accordingly. We ask that you arrive early to ensure that you receive the optimal benefits of your entire treatment time. We do our best to be ready for our clients when they arrive, but at times a session may be unexpectedly extended. In that rare case, you WILL receive the full length of your session.
