
Jennifer Lawrence, an Oscar winner, is expecting her first child with husband Cooke Maroney, People magazine revealed late Wednesday.
Lawrence’s spokesperson confirmed the pregnancy to the magazine after the news broke on Twitter on Wednesday evening.
The Hunger Games actor, 31, married Maroney, a New York art dealer, in a late-2019 ceremony attended by Adele and Amy Schumer, among others.
Lawrence received an Academy Award for “Silver Linings Playbook” in 2013.
She’ll also appear in “Bad Blood,” a 2022 biopic of Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes, who is now facing fraud charges. The film is based on journalist John Carreyrou’s book of the same name, published in May 2018, which was the first to expose Theranos. find out more
According to news reports, Lawrence was the highest-paid actress in the world in 2015 and 2016.
