Though Bruce Banner has long been one of the most physically powerful characters in Marvel films, that is going to change this summer when his cousin Jennifer Walters joins the MCU in Disney Plus’ She-Hulk: Attorney At Law. While both Hulks feature in the first teaser for She-Hulk, the show is obviously going to be Jennifer’s as she begins on her own journey to heroism.
Jennifer (Tatiana Maslany) is introduced in the first teaser of She-Hulk: Attorney At Law at a difficult juncture in her already convoluted life. Jennifer’s legal talents are in great demand since the world is filled with so many villains committing extraordinary crimes, but she’s not sure that’s the type of force for justice she wants to be. That soul searching is most likely what leads her to meet Bruce (Mark Ruffalo), who leads her to participate in an experiment that gives her the power to morph into a gigantic (and extremely CGI-ed) version of herself who takes to the streets as a new vigilante.
In addition to the Hulks, She-teaser Hulk’s includes a few glimpses of Abomination (Tim Roth), a longtime Hulk antagonist, indicating how the series will tie to the greater MCU.
Ginger Gonzaga, Josh Segarra, Jameela Jamil, Jon Bass, and Renée Elise Goldsberry feature in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, which premieres on Disney Plus on August 17th.
