The Xbox 20th Anniversary Event Is Finally Here

Today, Microsoft is hosting a special Xbox anniversary event to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the original Xbox, which was released with Halo: Combat Evolved. “While no new titles will be announced, this broadcast will be a special look back at all of the moments we’ve shared with the Xbox community over the last two decades,” Microsoft said.

While the event is intended to be a celebration rather than a news event, there will be news. Rumors say that an early beta of Halo Infinite multiplayer will be released to commemorate Halo’s 20th anniversary, and many Xbox enthusiasts have noticed odd patches to older original Xbox and Xbox 360 games.

The event is expected to last roughly 30 minutes in total.

On Monday, November 15th, from 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET, you may watch the livestream. If you miss the broadcast, there will be a replay available after the event.

The stream will be available on Xbox’s official YouTube and Twitch feeds, as well as its Facebook page. For your convenience, the YouTube broadcast is posted above.
